Position Type: Full-Time
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arranges and conducts funeral and memorial services and all things involved, including:
- Setting up at the chapel and church
- Applying cosmetics, dressing and casketing
- Assisting at the cemetery
- Supervising the parking of cars
- Delivering flowers
- Meets with families to organize funeral services and discuss arrangements
- Conducts removals and transfers
- Embalms after receiving authorization and identification verification
- Confirms authorization to proceed with the service arrangements
- Assist with cremations
- Gets commission off prearrangements
Certification/Licenses
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Degree from Accredited Mortuary Science Program.
- Successful completion of the National Board Examination.
- Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination.
- Valid Funeral Director State Licensure.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Schedule: (Willing to discuss/accommodate schedule)
- Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm and evening on call rotation
- Weekend and Holiday Availability - On call rotation
